I pulled all my scans from AlbumArtExchange because of their Admin's double standards and general attitude. Apparently it's 'only fair' to collect artwork for AAX from Fanart, but it's a big issue when fanart users do the same for this site. I still think it's bad style to raid other album art sites...

No idea about the rules, but there is room for improvement. Descreening could be worth a try, but the scan is less than ideal to begin with. That rainbow light pattern should be avoided if possible. A sheet of diffusive plastic should do the trick: https://www.kepstin.ca/blog/scanning-cds/

Not sure if the scanner stopping and restarting can cause this, but it does sound likely.

Why would you make it so small? You wouldn't use smaller images for single covers either, would you?

Cleanup of Blue (Y angle) worked surprisingly well in "backbeats". Usually it doesn't work. The dpi was 400 (2.3x). Color is wiped out in suzi.
