Correct. Use the release group ID, not the release ID.

Re: trouble adding an album
Sometimes it's a bit of a hicup between the fanart.tv database and MusicBrainz. No idea why it happens.
However, I wrote a guide on how to add releases to the fanart.tv database. You can find it here;

Hope that helps in any case

Re: HOWTO: Add album to the database
I'm waaaay behind answering here.. Sorry about that. The most important bit for adding album covers to the database is to get the release group ID, and not the release ID. If you are sure to use the release group, it won't be a problem adding the release to the database. However, in some rare cases ...

Re: Approved images being removed by moderator
I have to support leepenny on this one.

Re: cdart was suddenly removed
As the administrator for the music section, I would like to apologise about that, buddy. Just like Kode and leepenny says here, no images should ever be deleted or removed without you getting a notification or message about it. Again, I'm sorry about that. If you have any questions about the music s...

Re: Erroneous cdart name
Fixed!
This happens sometimes, and I have no idea why. Might be some database mixup. However, it's a quick fix so please continue to report those errors to the moderators/admins
Thanks!

Re: API key is invalid or disabled.
Oh crap! That explains a lot... ;) Haven't you announced that there is a new version of the API? I've switched to V3 as soon as you told me about it. How long do you want to keep the V2 alive? I get the XML support though, but might be a idea to implement it to V3 as well. You know much more about t...
