Re: A rule that quite obviously needs to be changed.

This place might be different than what it was initially envisioned to be but that's just where the chips fell. As far as 90% of your future users are concerned, posters and backgrounds are the only two sections that matter. Everything else could disappear in the wind and no one would bat an eyelas...

Re: A rule that quite obviously needs to be changed.

I understand and support the "official studio" rule if that's what you decide to go with. Opening the floodgates for just any fan edits is indeed a slippery slope. Re: A rule that quite obviously needs to be changed.

"Taglines" need to be interpreted to apply to the edition of a given movie. "3D," "Director's Cut," "Special Edition" (etc.) should be valid text to have on movie posters. Neither Plex nor Kodi currently allow for multiple versions of a movie to be 'stacked' on one listing. You have to have separate...

Re: text on uploads

"Posters can be textless or include a logo or logo & tagline (no exceptions, no other text is allowed)"

I agree that it should be easier to find the "rules" for submitting images. They're located here: https://fanart.tv/movie-fanart/

Re: Poster Rules Revisited

Is the 1000x1426 resolution strictly enforced? It just seems crazy to me since most digital media software (iTunes, Plex, XBMC, etc.) uses a 1:1.5 ratio for cover art. So 1000x1500, basically. Now I understand why my fanart covers are cropped funny in Plex. :P Anyway, if I submit 1000x1500 posters, ...
