Looks fine to me, must be an issue with the Kodi plugin, probably worth reporting in their forums

Is that the Artwork downloader plugin ? I tried it on another Kodi device, that failed too

I would imagine so, I think Artwork Download has its own internal caching as well, so you may still be caught in that
