I have some box sets I would like to upload artwork for, for example
'Classical Music for People Who Hate Classical Music'

It's not listed here or on musicbrainz.
How do I go about uploading something like this?

Thanks... when I did my search for it at MB I had it searching by artist instead of release

Having a slight issue with artwork but I'll just start another thread.

Yeah I understand - once you manage to do it , it'll become easier.
If ever searching for something from a compilation always put the title in and search via release group

Well, I think I'm finally past my artwork issues but having trouble with this boxset.

I've entered the mbid in the box
11f0fe5e-c3ec-42fc-9db5-4727e9dae8b9
and clicked the add button

It gives me this

If I click upload under cdart I get a pop up box where I can write in a comment but there is no where for me to include my images.
Clicking the upload box just gives me an 'upload error, undefined..... something went wrong, id:'

its under 'various artists' - search for various artist in music section - click on upload cdart then scroll down to your album (its there i've checked )
All being well you should be able to upload discart there (or any other type of image now for that album)

pasting it in the add album box and its telling me 'not a valid release group id'

you need to add the release group - see here

this adds all the versions of that album
The id you tried to put in was a single album id (not applicable for the db)

I understand what you have said above... I've added a few albums to the library.

However I have a few oddball items like promos I was going to put up.
Things that don't appear on the 'overview' tab but are present on the 'releases' tab.

Not sure where I am supposed to pull the proper MBID from for this....

On the page you linked to, under the release name it says “~ Release by Clutch (see all versions of this release, 1 available)”. Click on “see all versions of this release, 1 available” to get to the release-group. Then, to get the MBID, either go to the Details tab or copy it out of the address-bar.

By default, the overview only shows official release groups by the artist. You can remove the filter and show all release-groups on the Overview tab for an artist by clicking the “ Show all release groups instead” link at the bottom of the overview.
