I uploaded a Clear logo for the German TV series " This Drombuschs ". but on the underside series name is not displayed. Instead, there is "No english title set ". But the series has no English name. Give it a solution to this problem?

Hi there,
fanart.tv is showing 'no-english-title-set' because there is no English version of this page over at the TVDB.
If you want to create an English version of the page on The TVDB then we can refresh the entry here on fanart.tv and the title will get picked up.
Cheers!

I tried to add an English version on TVDB but it wouldn't seem to let me so I went ahead and changed in our own DB for now.

Esky is right though. When possible, please edit the entry on
TVDB for TV Shows, or
TMDB for movies.
Then we only have to refresh it here.

Apparently this is the reason I couldn't edit the show.

The proper way would be to request adding a new language in their forums.

The series has never been published in England. Why should it be an English title? Have now found the problem in some German series. Can the fanart.tv-database not switch to the original language in such cases?

I agree that would be a great solution but that is a question for Kode as I don't know what would be involved in coding that for all the databases we access. This is an English site so I don't know how that might work for say a Japanese Kanji title, or even Arabic. I do know that the new site will be set up in quite a few languages so you will be able to go Fanart.tv.de or something similar. In that case it shouldn't be an issue at all.
In all honesty, since this is an English site, as you pointed out... the title "No English title set" is actually correct. It's only a cosmetic issue as you were able to find the series and upload your image just fine. It just doesn't show the German title on that page. (until I manually changed it)

Is a good offer, that you change this manually. Thank you.
In the series " Der Schattenmann"

I have the same problem.

Hi there,
when I suggested creating an English page for the series I didn't mean it would have an English title. The title of the series would still be 'Diese Drombuschs' but the content of the page would be translated into English.
For example, Once Upon a Time has an English page
http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=248835&lid=7 and a Portugese page
http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=248835&lid=26 The title remains the same on both, just the content is translated.
I hope this makes things clearer!
