Tutorial: How to make a Logos

I don't know whether it was necessary to do these videos, but for those who are just starting out, i think it will be just right to learn these methods.

The work is done in CS5! Also they are suitable and for CS6 and CC.
The only difference in working with the pen tool:

Yeah, these are great vids Shev.
This should help a lot of beginners or even the more casual members to jump in the logo/clearart making.

Thanks for your Tutorial, it's useful . but you can Use Illustrator to create a vector version of your logo.

Illustrator gives a lot more control over your designs than Photoshop, it's a vector image program, meaning that whatever you make can be scaled indefinitely and quality won't be lost. The same can't be said with Photoshop. Slowly work into illustrator, you'll get there!

I've been making Logos on Illustrator ... I have a XP-Pen Deco Pro Art tablet (size medium) that I use to sketch directly into Illustrator.

Yes, I know Illustrator. Videos were created based on a large number of Photoshop users. To help some users.
and to cut out the logo and use it on different raster types of images for fanart.tv it is enough for me Photoshop, because I work with the rasters more than vector images.
