New fanart.tv logo contest

We are creating a new look for the site and have decided to see if any budding artists want to try their hand at creating us a logo, we are hoping to find the new logo from within the community so are giving you first crack at it.

The winning entry will get:

VIP++ Lifetime membership
10,000 contributor points
Coffee mug with your logo on it
Your name on the credits page crediting you as the designer of the logo with a clickable link to the site of your choice (within reason).
Your name on the footer of the site (site gets around 1 million page views a month), crediting you as the designer of the logo for at least a year with a clickable link to the site of your choice (within reason).

Please use the attached template to showcase your image on the forum
This will make it easier for us to compare them. (you can style the fanart.tv text however you like if you want to update that as well, or just use the default).

Here are my entries. Pen to paper, It's a simple, dynamic logo made up of the two letters F -- Paper and part of the pencil, A -- Pencil tip. It's a wink to FanArt. The difference between the two entries is the line thickness of the F, to make it more apparent.

First entry: Thinner lines

My official third entry: A very symmetrical, yet simple design with a darker tone. It is composed of the two letters F (left) and A (right). Hope you enjoy!

Edit: Final design, just need to figure out how to make it into a vector now.

A couple of variants included just to give an idea of how it would look in different situations. Is it ok to include text on the header but not on the banner view, or would they have to be separate entries?

The logo started out as a diamond shape (#2) , but when I rotated it, it looked like a keyboard key and I thought that was kinda neat. (#1) Then I started some M.C. Escher'esque designs just for fun. (#3-5)

I'm fairly new to vector-graphics, but I'm quite happy with the result. I hope you like it
