this list shows up a few duplicates on album covers I found, searching through the database a bit. I know duplicates will have their own special place, when the new site is up and runnin', but ezz9 and me think they should be taken care of.
If the interrest is there, I will continue going through the database to search for duplicates. I also going to check every week or two if this list is still up to date and if there are images, that have been taken care of.
You may also add new links of duplicates to this list or maybe a few volunteer contributor, who also care about this can do this, but this is a sensitive topic so there are strict rules, which I'm gonna wright down now.
RULES:
1. Please check really really precisely if the image is a douplicate.
2. Covers like Bryan Adams' - You Want It - You Got It: https://fanart.tv/artist/4dbf5678-7a31- ... ams-bryan/ are not dulpicates, one of 'em has a small number below the text.
Or the cover from The Aggrolites - The Aggrolites: https://fanart.tv/artist/ac241ded-3430- ... lites-the/ is also not a duplicate, the head of the lion is bigger and it has a different coloration, which brings me to the next point.
3. Because every human have a different visual sense on colors, you have to double check, maybe in Gimp or Photoshop as well. A slight difference is allowed to put them up in the list, like Alphavilles, Afternoons in Utopia: https://fanart.tv/artist/31aa6f87-8d00- ... lphaville/, but the last word will have a senior mod. If you are not at least 90% sure about it, leave it alone.
That is all I came up with for now, but please contact me for additional rules or some changes in them.
