EDIT: This still doesn't work. Still getting 401 Unauthorized. The only way I can make it work is using an old known API that's always worked. I even paid for lifetime VIP membership. That didn't help my personal API key any.

You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of how the system works.

I've just spent about an hour troubleshooting this, only to find you seem to be using personal API keys instead of project api keys?

The personal API key allows you to bring back more recent results, but it is not used as a replacement for the project API key, it is a system so people can create apps that use our feed and then encourage their users to create personal API keys to get quicker results.

So in summary, you need to generate a Project API key to return results, and you can use a personal API key to have more recent additions.

Thanks so much for all your time to look into this! Initially, I did try api keys for projects. When that produced the "401 unauthorized" error, I mistakenly presumed I could use a personal API key instead the project api key.

I have a feeling the first time you updated the database may have fixed the original issue. I probably would have noticed if I had switched back to using an project API key earlier on.

Hi, today I am trying to use my MediaPortal plugin to download fanart. When I use my client_key, it is returning Server Error but when I remove the client_key, it works. What could be the issue please?

Kode, just noticed one thing here.
The API isn't available through SSL anymore.

This URL works;
http://webservice.fanart.tv/v3/music/

This doesn't:
https://webservice.fanart.tv/v3/music/

Is that intentional?
