Search bar behaviour

I think the search bar could be much more useful with a couple of tweaks.

As it is now, a search with no section specified defaults to movie results. It would be much more comfortable (i.e. fewer clicks) if it showed the top matches in all categories.
I also don't like how it keeps going back to the default option instead of sticking to the last category selected or searching the section the user is currently browsing. I have to keep reselecting the same option over and over again.
