I was thinking for clearlogos it might be cool to use apng (animated) or gifs.

Not the letters spinning, but the searchlight would make a cool logo. Get them looped perfectly like a cinemagraph, etc. File size would be the main issue I suppose. Anyway just throwing it out there.

Anything animated is pretty low quality due to the color limitation so it will never happen here unless full colors is worked in.
