VIP Payment not working

Hey,

I am trying to upgrade to VIP but PayPal continues to give me the same error after I login to my account to process the payment: "At this time, we are unable to process your request. Please return to fanart.tv and try another option."

I tried the £2.00 and £15.00 options several times over the past ~month without any luck. Since I am using my paypal account regularly (bank account & credit card) I don't think thats the problem. Any advice?

Hi, you aren't by any chance from Germany are you?

If you are that will be the problem, a work around for now is to go to donate and set up a recurring donation and I'll manually add you.

If not, then I probably broke it somehow, try it now I disabled something.

yes I am from Germany. VIP still didn't work so I added an annual donation of £15 (that € exchange rate ).

hmmm I know this issue .

Somehow PayPal does not like recurring subscriptions from germany. The manual way worked fine for me though .

Yeah, Germany doesn't allow subscriptions through paypal, I have manually added you to VIP, you might need to logout and back in again to see the VIP forum on here, and it might take up to an hour to show up on the site.

The alternative is to use the donation form and put in the notes what it is for, then send me a PM to tell me and I can manually set you.

Just tried the donation option. But even that did not work. For some paypal is not accepting payments on your behalf.

I'm from Germany, too.

So, how can I pay the Lifetime membership fee for the "VIP" level ?

Is it possible to sent the money to a email adress ?
