Search bar acting weird using Google Chrome

Post by MrTinkertrain »

I've been using Firefox as my default browser for years.
But since it got a little buggy on me on some sites I frequently visit (not fanart by the way) I decided to give Google Chrome a try.
I've used it for about a week now and I'm really liking Chrome better as Firefox up to now.

But since yesterday all of a sudden the search bar is acting kind of strange.
Strange in the sense that all of a sudden a font is being used that's kind of hard to read.
In Firefox it's still the same as it's always been.
The "funny" thing is, that on discogs.com I'm having the same issues.
Musicbrainz site and all other sites I've been to are working fine so far though

I've tried everything I knew to see if I could get Chrome back to what it was.
I've tried resetting everything back to their defaults and even uninstalled and reinstalled it, but to no avail.

YES !!!!!!!

Thanks to your link I solved the problem :D :D
It turned out that one of the fonts I recently installed on my laptop was causing the problems.
I had one Helvetica font installed on my system.
When I uninstalled that particular font, everything went back to normal again

Many thanks for your help ! :)
